Jaguar Marketing System Business Review

Review By Jamison Palmer

The Jaguar Marketing System has quite a bit of a buzz on the Internet.  Some people say it is a scam and others say it is the best opportunity on the Internet.  In this review, we are going to take a loose look at this popular home business opportunity.

The Jaguar Marketing System was originally called Predator Marketing launched by Al Turnquist in 2006.  It is a home-based business opportunity that offers a marketing training package as the main product.

The concept is similar to EDC Gold, which also offers marketing training as the main product.  However, rather than mostly digital products such as e-books and videos,  the Jaguar Marketing System offers live training to members.

The Jaguar Marketing Training

I think the Jaguar Marketing package is a great concept.  After all, if you are getting involved with a home business, or any other business opportunity for that matter, your success will depend on your ability to effectively market the program.

I have been involved in Internet marketing for around 12 years myself, so I am able to quickly discern the quality of the information in a marketing package.  The Jaguar Marketing System does have some good information for beginners.  However, if you are an experienced marketer, I would not expect to learn anything too advanced from the training.

Jaguar Marketing Packages

When joining the Jaguar Marketing program, there are 3 different packages available:

First, there is the Platinum package for $3995. This system includes their replicated marketing website, a couple personal development training courses, live marketing training, call center closers to close your sales, and an additional course on real estate investing.  If you join at this level, you are responsible for one qualifying sale before you are qualified to earn $3000 on Platinum sales and $1000 on Gold system sales.

Second, there is the Gold package for $1499.  This package includes the replicated website, a couple additional training courses, the live marketing training, as well as access to their call center closers.  With the Gold package, once you have completed your qualifying sale, you will be qualified to earn $1000 on system sales.  If your system produces a $3995 system sale, you will earn $1000 and the $2000 balance is passed up to the person you joined under.  You then have an opportunity to upgrade to the platinum package by paying your sponsor $2000 and $495 to the company.  This is a total of $3995.  In addition, you would need to generate an extra qualifying sale and pay a $400 upgrade fee to the company.

Finally, there is the Silver package.  This package costs $99.00 and allows you to use their replicated marketing website and offers the live training package.  They say this package is for financially challenged people who want to get involved.  This package requires you to make 3 system sales plus one qualifying sale.  This means you will pass on $9,000 to become qualified.  They are obviously trying to create a major incentive to get involved with one of their more expensive packages.

The Problem with Jaguar Marketing System’s Compensation Plan

This compensation plan is what is known as a 1-up compensation plan. This means that the first sale is passed up to the sponsor as a qualifying sale.  One-up compensation plans are not all bad, but the problem I see with Jaguar Marketing’s compensation plan is that the sponsor only gets paid on the first sale of the people that join under them.  After that first sale, the sponsor no longer has a vested interest in the success of the people under them.  These people actually become competition.  I think this is a pretty serious flaw in the compensation plan.  I think all compensation programs should be structured in a way that gives the sponsor a reason to continue to help the people they bring into the program.

Final Thoughts on the Jaguar Marketing System

The Jaguar Marketing Systems overall concept is pretty good.  I think that offering a marketing package as the product is a good idea because it could help people in marketing their new business.  I think one of the weaknesses of the Jaguar Marketing program is that the training is pretty basic and does not contain much useful information for advanced Internet marketers.  I think the program would be much stronger if it had advanced training from Internet marketing experts.

I think the other major weakness is the compensation plan.  I think it would have been a better idea to structure the compensation plan in such a way that gives sponsors a vested interest in helping the people under them to achieve success.  Overall, I think that the program could be considered a legitimate opportunity to work from home and is not a scam, but has some areas of weakness to take into consideration.
